Также является общегородским шевроном Страйкбол (за рубежом известный как airsoft) — командная военно-спортивная игра.

Смысл игры — коллективный отдых на лоне природы, нейтрализация негативных эмоций и агрессивных устремлений, радость взаимного общения достойных людей.

Страйкбол напоминает пейнтбол — так же как и в пейнтболе две вооружённые команды стремятся победить друг друга. В отличие от пейнтбола, в страйкболе стрельба ведётся из пневматического оружия 6-мм пластиковыми пульками. Внешний вид применяемых в страйкболе автоматов, винтовок, пистолетов достаточно точно копирует реальные прототипы, а при стрельбе имитируется звук, оружие стоит от 10 тыс. рублей. Дальность стрельбы выше, чем в пейнтболе, при попадании пульки в тело ощущения болезненные, но кровоподтёки не возникают. Игра ведётся с использованием защитной амуниции, противоударных очках или маске. Расход патронов у новичков составляет около сотни за час, у опытных игроков — сотня патронов на два-три часа.

Датой основания томского страйкбольного движения принято считать 1999 год. Организацией страйкбола впервые в Томске начал заниматься военно-патриотический клуб «СТРАЙК», дающий на прокат оружия, организующий игры, доставку на полигон.

С 26 по 27 мая 2007 года проходило открытие сезона 2007 в Новосибирске, в котором принимали участие все томские airsoft-команды.

С 8 по 9 сентября на территории ТОМСКОЙ ОБЛАСТИ (!) будет проходить "Закрытие сезона страйкбольных игр 2007 года", право на проведение которого Томск выиграл впервые.
